We are super excited to welcome Tai Garcia!!!
A Message from Jason Williams (SPRC Chair)
Dear Goldthwaite First Methodist Church Family,
It is with great joy and excitement that the Staff-Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) announces the selection of our new Family Ministry leader—Mrs. Tai Garcia! This position is a crucial part of our mission to raise up the next generation of disciples through our NexGen ministry, serving our children and youth.
As we continue to fulfill our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly, we are deeply honored to have one of our own take on this significant role. Mrs. Tai’s passion for nurturing the faith of young people is evident in the heart she has already shown while serving at Vacation Bible School this summer. She will officially begin her role on July 6th, and we are thrilled to see how God will use her in this ministry.
Let us all come together to celebrate and support Tai in this new journey. Your prayers, encouragement, and love will be a great blessing as she steps into this calling.
We are truly excited about this new chapter in the life of our church, and we can’t wait to see how God will work through Tai to help shape the future of our children and youth.
In Christ’s Love and Joy,
Jason Williams

A Note From Tai
Good afternoon!
I wanted to sincerely express how thankful I am for this opportunity!
A little about me and my family!
My name is Tai and my husband is Christain and we have three boys named Hancel. Harper, Xavier
We recently moved here from the irving Dallas area where we were attending collage classes to further our education. We moved to goldthwaite to help Christian's buddy with his business and came to really love the town and its people!
We are so excited for what the future holds with this opportunity!
I have worked most of my life in the church and mission industry and absolutely love it and truly feel a calling to do whatever the Lord needs rather it's cleaning toilets and vacuuming crumbs from the Littles after Sunday school or teaching classes and visiting the elder. All of it is part of his work and we are here for it!
We can't wait to meet everyone and get the Lord's work started with a fire and passion and determination to reach the souls of this community!
Thank you again and many blessings be upon you!
The Garcia family.
